Black + Vernooy is very excited to be a part of one of the four teams selected as Waller Creek Design Competition finalists. Led by Turenscape and Lake|Flato Architects, the integrated design team has conceived each of their roles as tributaries that will feed into the main stem of the overall planning and design concept.
With contributing members from as far as Beijing, Seattle and Chicago, Black + Vernooy had a great time hosting the team here in Austin as we all continue to unlock the potential for this truly urban watershed.
Phase 3 begins now, with completed designs to be wrapped up by the end of the summer.
