Black & Vernooy’s first modular project is now under construction on a remote site in South Texas. The modules have been placed and final site work is currently underway. The remoteness of the location made this weekend home a perfect fit for the modular construction process which allows the majority of the construction to be handled off-site, where tradesmen are more readily available. The design employs three separate modules connected by outdoor gathering spaces that allows for flexibility of accommodating a single couple or the whole family.
